Termination: To eliminate an application, administrators simply take it off the Virtual Application server. To terminate a particular user's rights, they simply remove access from Active Directory. Either of these automatically removes icons for the application on end-users desktops on the next Application Virtualisation configuration refresh. There are no un-installs.
Application Roaming: Application Virtualisation supports multiple Windows client environments, including desktops, laptops and terminals servers with a centrally managed infrastructure. As a result, users can travel from one environment to the next throughout the day and have their applications and preferences roam with them.
Centrally Controlled Access: Application Virtualisation centralises management of applications, users can only get the applications they have the right to run. Centralised control also enables IT to patch and upgrade once to the server and the next time the users access the network, their applications are updated without impacting their productivity.
