Background: Dua have a main office in North London, and satellite offices in Central London and Delhi connecting via Terminal Services. If the main office became unavailable then all users would be affected until access to the office and services could be restored.

installed two servers, both with a Citrix XenServer virtualisation layer
allowing hardware independent Windows server images to be installed on top.
Virtual server images are regularly backed up to offsite storage and if a physical server needs to be stopped for maintenance or fails, the virtual server can simply be moved to the other physical server.
help4IT also prepared facilities at our own City of London hosting facility
together with DNS and Internet routing. In the event of a disaster where both servers become unavailable, e.g. office fire then the virtual server images will be started in our hosting facility quickly within a service level agreed time. Remote users can connect from home or the other branch offices in Central London and Delhi in order to resume their work and regain productivity.
Virtual Hot Site Disaster Recovery has enabled Dua & Co. to obtain peace of mind at a far lower cost than traditional disaster recovery methods.
